Hoover Tech Youth Empowerment Programs
Our programs for youth are designed to help nurture and foster the growth and development of growing young minds. Through our Afterschool and Summer programming we provide academic enrichment, exposure, and fun. As a result our scholars are prepared for the classroom and given opportunities that positively change the trajectory of their future. Afterschool Care
Our Afterschool Program is for K-6th grade students. Sign-up is completed in person and the program begins, September 5. Our hours are from 3 pm-6 pm, Monday through Thursday. During this time students receive an afterschool snack and meal, homework support, academic enrichment or tutoring, and exposure to extracurricular, S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) related activities.
Summer Camp
Summer Camp takes place during June-July, from 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Thursday. During the summer months students continue their learning with enrichment, classes in S.T.E.A.M., exploring nature, field trips, fun and more! Each student receives breakfast, snacks, and lunch.
